For the first time ever, Atlus steps into the genre of pure, swords and sorcery fantasy with a new JRPG IP called Metaphor: ReFantazio. This game takes place in a dark and gritty fantasy kingdom called Euchronia, which has recently fallen into chaos following the assassination of its king.
To restore peace to the kingdom, you must save the prince of Euchronia's life from a dire curse and help him win a tournament where the winner will be declared the kingdom's next ruler.
Neva (October 15, 2024)
Neva is a side-scrolling adventure game developed by Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital. This follows the heartbreaking tale of Alba, a young warrior who is looking after a wolf chub after its parent fell in battle with dark monsters. Together, Alba and the wolf chub set out on a journey to survive in a world slowly rotting away.
MechWarrior 5: Clans (October 17, 2024)
MechWarrior 5: Clans is a standalone entry in the long-running MechWarriors franchise. Play as a member of the Smoke Jaguar Clan out to conquer the Inner Sphere and pilot heavily-armed mechs to defeat armies of enemies in deadly, tactical battles where your piloting skills will be put to the test.
Unknown 9: Awakening (October 18, 2024)
Unknown 9: Awakening is an upcoming third-persona adventure game developed by Reflector Entertainment and published by Bandai Namco. You play as Haroona, a woman born with a mysterious power that lets her travel into alternate reality known as the Fold.
Yearning to discover the origins behind her powers, Haroona ventures into the Fold to look for answers. However, little does Haroona know that she is being followed by the Ascendants, a secret organization who wishes to exploit the powers of the Fold to change human history to their twisted vision.
Lynked: Banner of the Spark (October 22, 2024)
Lynked: Banner of the Spark is a roguelike action game developed and published by Fuzzybot. In this game, you play as a group of cyborg superheroes fighting to save the world from destroyed by rogue robots called Combots.
Rescue friendly robots to help you build a base of operations where you can create new weapons and power-ups and battle your way through hordes of Combots solo or with fellow heroes in 3-player online co-op parties.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (October 25, 2024)
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the latest upcoming entry in the Call of Duty's Black Ops first-person shooter series. This game will feature an epic single-player campaign where players will take on missions to save the U.S. government from being corrupted by a shadowy organization that has infiltrated it.
In addition, Black Ops 6 will include a variety of in-depth online competitive PvP modes and a co-op horde mode where players work together to fend off waves of zombies.
Sonic X Shadow Generations (October 25, 2024)
Sonic Generations, one of the best 3D Sonic games in the entire franchise, is coming back for next-gen consoles with a new remastered edition called Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Play as Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic to blaze through iconic Sonic levels to stop Dr. Eggman from rewriting history. Then, play as Sonic's rival, Shadow the Hedgehog, to blaze a trail through memorable levels from Shadow's namesake game and Sonic Adventure 2 to stop the infamous alien conqueror, Black Doom, from destroying the world.
Life Is Strange: Double Exposure (October 29, 2024)
The beloved narrative adventure series, Life is Strange, returns with a new dark murder mystery in Life Is Strange: Double Exposure. Taking place many years after the first game, players will once again assume the role of Max Caulfield, now grown up and living at Caledon University as artist-in-residence.
Unfortunately, Max’s life takes a tragic turn as she discovers one of her friends, Safi, has been mysteriously murdered by an unknown assailant. Players will need to use Max’s reality-warping powers explore parallel realities to figure out who the killer was and stop them before they could murder Max’s dear friend.
Phasmophobia (October 29, 2024)
The popular 4-player co-op horror game is making the jump from PC to Xbox games just in time for Halloween. As a team of paranormal investigators, your job is to explore haunted houses and report of evidence of paranormal activity so you can call in professional ghostbusters to exorcise them.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard (October 31, 2024)
Bioware’s beloved Dragon Age RPG series will be making a grand return to the gaming industry in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. You play as the titular Veilguard, a hero destined to save the world of Thedas from two evil gods who seek to destroy it as an act of revenge after being imprisoned for centuries.
